The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) recently scheduled this year’s Brake Safety Week for Aug. 22-28. On April 1, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), a nonprofit association dedicated to improving commercial motor vehicle safety, published its 2020 North American Standard Out-of-Service Criteria (OOSC). Operation Safe Driver Week—an annual campaign conducted by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA)—will take place from July 11-17. This year’s focus will be on speeding.This inspection and enforcement initiative highlights the work of 13,000 commercial motor vehicle inspectors throughout North America and acknowledges the compliance of motor carriers and professional drivers through the issuance of a CVSA decal on eligible vehicles.
The results are in from this year’s Brake Safety Week, an annual campaign that’s part of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) Operation Airbrake program. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness regarding the importance of brake maintenance and efficiency, as well as reduce brake-related crashes on the road.
