De Anna “Dee” Downs began working in Property and Casualty insurance in 2004, discovering the insurance industry while on assignment as a “temp” employee for a global insurance carrier in the underwriting department.  After becoming licensed, her career began in Texas working for a large agency with offices in Amarillo, Dallas and Borger.  Returning to her hometown in Oklahoma to raise her family, her career continued there where she focused on general business, farm and ranch operations, equine mortality, artisan contractors, general contractors, oil and gas consultants, trucking operations, and construction risks.  After taking a brief pause from insurance while working for three years at a regional university where she gained valuable knowledge working in Engineering Technology and Admissions and Recruitment departments, Dee joined the Reseco family in August 2021 and returned to Property and Casualty insurance where she works remotely from her home in Oklahoma.  She is a veteran of the Oklahoma Army National Guard having served six years.  Dee and her husband Nate have three boys. Their youngest son, Luke, is a three-time national power-tumbling and trampoline champion.  The middle son, Ethan, attends the University of Oklahoma majoring in Physical Therapy and plays football for the Oklahoma Sooners.  Their oldest son, Cole, is a veteran of the United States Airforce and worked on the electronic flight control integrated systems of the B-1B Lancer.  She enjoys gardening, fishing, family vacations and watching her boys’ athletic events.
